1,8-Cineole is a colorless oily transparent liquid, which widely exists in natural aromatic oil and is the main component of eucalyptus oil. Eucalyptus oleanol has camphor flavor and cool herbal flavor, and has bactericidal and insecticidal effects. It is mainly used in medicine and food spices, and is also commonly used as a preservative.
Eucalyptus oleanol is a colorless to yellowish oily transparent liquid. It has camphor smell and cool herbal flavor. Boiling point 176 ℃, melting point 1~1.5 ℃, freezing point 1 ℃, flash point 47~48 ℃. Soluble in ethanol, ether, chloroform, glacial acetic acid, propylene glycol, glycerin and most non-volatile oils, slightly soluble in water.
Natural products exist in more than 200 kinds of natural essential oils such as eucalyptus oil.
