Coenzyme Q10 description

Coenzyme Q10 is a small molecular fat-soluble quinone organic compound widely existing in animal and plant cells. Its structure is similar to that of vitamin K. It is a strong antioxidant when used alone or in combination with vitamin E. It is necessary to drive the human energy generation (ATP) cycle. It has the function of promoting oxidative phosphorylation reaction and protecting the structural integrity of biofilm. The number of isopentene units in the side chain of coenzyme Q from different sources is different. Human and mammalian are 10 isopentene units, so it is called coenzyme Q10. Coenzyme Q plays an important role in proton transfer and electron transfer in the respiratory chain in vivo. It is an activator of cell respiration and cell metabolism, as well as an important antioxidant and non-specific immune enhancer.

Coenzyme Q10 efficacy

Coenzyme Q10 has two main functions in the body, one is to play an important role in the process of transforming nutrients into energy in mitochondria, and the other is to have obvious anti-lipid peroxidation effect.

It is well known that the generation of free radicals in the body is the main cause of human aging. Most cells contain granulosomes ranging from 500 to 2000. These granular bodies are like small "energy factories", transforming the food we eat into energy to maintain the operation of life. Coenzyme Q10 is a metabolic activator, which can activate cell respiration and accelerate the production of adenosine triphosphate (ATP). Research shows that once the level of coenzyme Q10 in human blood is reduced by 25%, the main organs in the body (especially the heart) will not be able to maintain the optimal operation due to insufficient energy. Research has proved that antioxidants can prevent and reduce the incidence of many diseases. Coenzyme Q10 can be synthesized in human tissues. After the age of 20, its synthesis ability will be weakened. With the increase of age, the liver will lose the ability to synthesize coenzyme Q10. At the same time, coenzyme Q10 is also difficult to obtain supplements from food. In addition, in addition to the growth of age, bad living habits, stress and infection will affect the body, resulting in insufficient supply of coenzyme Q10, and the natural coenzyme in the body will gradually decrease in the cells, which means that human cells will gradually lose their due protective capacity. This accelerates the process of skin aging.

Coenzyme 10 function and application

1. Coenzyme Q10 helps protect the heart. It helps the myocardium to provide sufficient oxygen and prevent sudden heart disease. Especially in the process of myocardial ischemia, coenzyme Q10 plays a key role in improving.

2. In cosmetic field, Coenzyme Q10 can protect skin.

3. Coenzyme Q10 has the anti fatigue function.

4. In medicine field, it can prevent and cure cancer.
