Bitter Orange Leaf Oil Description

Bitter orange leaf essential oil is extracted from the leaves of the bitter orange plant, which belongs to the Rutaceae family. The most valuable part of this refreshing essential oil is its ability to stimulate the brain to consciously take in knowledge while calming anger and panic. It also has a great relaxing effect, calming a fast beating heart and facilitating sleep. In skin care, it cleanses greasy skin and skin imperfections.

Bitter orange, a plant of the Rutaceae family, is also known as "lime tree" in French. It is said that bitter orange was introduced to Europe by Arab merchants in 1200 A.D., and later widely used by Italian, Spanish and French botanists in the 17th century. Bitter orange peel, flower and immature fruit can be processed and utilized. Bitter orange tree can extract three essential oils. Bitter orange leaf essential oil comes from the leaves and twigs of trees, orange flower essential oil is extracted from flowers, and bitter orange essential oil is made by cold pressing the peel.

Bitter Orange Leaf Oil Function and Application

1. Non-irritating and non-photosensitive; it is cheaper than neroli essential oil and more suitable for bathing than sweet orange essential oil. It has a wide range of uses. It has all the properties of citrus essential oil, but is different from other essential oils. It has sebum inhibiting and antiseptic properties.

2. It regulates skin function and reduces sebum secretion. It is also a very good antiseptic, so it is good for acne and can also treat dandruff.

3. It is a calming agent for the nervous system. Bitter orange leaf oil 3 drops + bergamot 2 drops + geranium 1 drop + 30ml base oil
