Tanshinone IIA, salvianolic acid B, cryptotanshinone: mainly fat soluble non quinone pigment compounds, such as tanshinone IIA, tanshinone IIB, cryptotanshinone and their isomers. Water soluble phenolic acids such as protocatechuic aldehyde and danshensu. Among them, cryptotanshinone is an effective antibacterial component.
