N-Acetyl-L-cysteine product description

N-acetyl-L-cysteine is an organic substance with a smell similar to garlic and sour taste. It is hygroscopic, soluble in water or ethanol, insoluble in ether and chloroform. It is acidic in aqueous solution (ph2-2.75 in 10g/l H2O), mp101-107 ℃.

N-Acetyl-L-cysteine drug interactions

1. N-acetyl-L-cysteine cannot be mixed with penicillin, cephalosporins and tetracycline antibiotics, because the latter may be ineffective.

2. It can be used in combination with isoproterenol or alternatively to improve the curative effect and reduce adverse reactions.

3. Avoid contact with metal and rubber appliances, oxidants and oxygen.

N-Acetyl-L-cysteine preparation method

1. After passing the inspection, 300 kg of cysteine hydrochloride monohydrate will be sent to a 2-ton ceramic reactor, and 1650 kg of water will be added to stir it into a liquid state. The reactor will be sealed, and 1 cubic meter of acid anhydride will be added in turn. Then, while stirring, an appropriate amount of liquid alkali with a concentration of 20% will be added. When the measured pH value reaches 12, stop adding alkali, and start heating and pressurizing. The pressure will be adjusted to 0.4 Mpa, the temperature will be 125 ℃ - 135 ℃, and the heat preservation will be carried out for acylation reaction for 1.8-2.2 hours, Then add a proper amount of hydrochloric acid, and stop mixing when the pH value reaches 3.

2. Transfer the materials in the 2t ceramic reactor to the 2t cooling reactor while it is hot, and use circulating brine to rapidly cool the materials in the reactor to below 3 ℃ while stirring to obtain acetylcysteine crystal.

3. The acetylcysteine crystal is sent to a centrifuge for solid-liquid separation, and the acetylcysteine solid obtained after water removal is sent to a vacuum dryer for drying, and dried at 75 ℃ 85 ℃ for 11-13 hours. After drying, it can be broken and screened, and then packaged to obtain the acetylcysteine product.

N-Acetyl-L-cysteine function and application

1. N-acetyl-L-cysteine is used as antioxidant and mucopolysaccharide reagent. It has been reported that it can prevent neuronal apoptosis, but induce smooth muscle cell apoptosis and prevent HIV replication.

2. N-acetyl-L-cysteine can dissolve mucus.
