The viola philippica extract is the rooted whole plant of the Viola Viola family herb.
It is found in grassland, grass slope, shrub, forest edge, under sparse forest, field wasteland and riverbank sand. It is distributed in Heilongjiang, Jilin, Liaoning, Inner Mongolia, Hebei, Shanxi, Shaanxi, Gansu, Shandong, Taiwan and other places.
The whole plant contains esters of glycosides, flavonoids, waxes, ceric acid and unsaturated acids. Flowers also contain wax. The wax contains 34.9% saturated acid (mainly waxy acid), 5.8% unsaturated acid, 10.3% alcohol and about 47% hydrocarbon. The root contains about 37% starch and has alkaloid and flavone reactions. The whole grass contains glycosides, flavonoids and waxes (esters of insect wax acid and unsaturated acid). The whole grass in the pre-test contains a lot of mucus and substances with weak hemolysis. Palmitic acid, p-hydroxybenzoic acid, trans-p-hydroxycinnamic acid, succinic acid, eicosyl p-hydroxyphenylethylamine, afzelin and kaempferol-3-O-rhamnoside were also isolated from the whole plant.
Clear heat and detoxify, cool blood and reduce swelling. Used for conjunctivitis, pharyngitis, icteric hepatitis, and lymphatic tuberculosis. Externally used for treating carbuncle ulcers and venomous snake bites.
